Very very nice!

I absolutely love making my own bread and find it much easier when I use a Panasonic bread maker.

Hi Chuck- adding sauerkraut to bread sounds like an interesting idea! We have a cousin who is nuts about sauerkraut, so I'm thinking this might make a good hostess gift next time we visit their home for dinner! I started up a new blog (a 2nd one) last week, and today's featured recipe is bread! Check it out- www.CulinaryCovers.com.

Oh my, this sounds like a great use for sauerkraut (which I can't get enough of, I love the stuff)...and since my friends and I have missed the opportunity to plan Oktoberfest by about a month (it's usually in September) and October is almost over, we're planning a "German Food in November just because..." meal--this will be a perfect thing to add to our menu. I can't wait to try it.

Very interesting indeed. I know that a good German cake recipe I like uses sauerkraut so why not! Being German myself...I will give it thumbs up automatically! But seriously...this does look good and I am sure it adds so much to the moistness of the bread. Another great recipe indeed!
