perfect timing for those who are going to be making their own apple butter…yum! Sorry I haven’t been by for awhile but I know only too well the heat you are talking about….egads. My boys are cranky….not just the heat but they are saying…WHERE IS THE HOMEMADE BAKING….too hot to turn that oven on! Grin. Thanks for a delicious recipe….can’t wait to try it. A bit cooler this weekend though….so perhaps a try tomororw ? Have a great one….delightful as always!

i associate apple butter with home, sweet home, as it’s something my mom and i always used to make and preserve. this is one fantastic use for it, although I’ve been caught many times simply digging with a spoon.
