My Top Ten Bread Recipes
December 22nd, 2008 by Angela

Since this is my first posting on this site let me introduce myself, I’m Chuck’s sister Angela. I’m a graphic designer & an amateur photographer. I came on board this time last year to redesign Cookingbread.com and help start this blog. My contribution to these sites are to style and photograph my brother’s homemade breads. I also have the pleasure of tasting these recipes every week and I do mean pleasure! So I’m very excited to give my unbiased opinion on what I think are the best of the best for 2008.
Before I do that I’d like to give a big shout out to all of you who come to our site on a regular basis and make your comments. I look forward everyday to reading them and to be inspired by reading your blogs. THANK YOU!
I’ve always said, that if God would granted me one “free food” (meaning no calories) it would be warm homemade bread and butter. So you can imagine how hard it was to narrow down a Top Ten list of my favorites for the year, so impossible, that I’m starting with a honorable mention.
Banana Coconut Bread Pudding with Bailey’s Sauce
This recipe needs to be mentioned, it’s wonderful. I love bread pudding and this recipe is an extra special one, smooth and crispy all at the same time and when the Bailey’s sauce was poured over top – well – that took it over the top. (excuse the pun).
Tomorrow starts the countdown of my Top Ten favorites for the year. My #1 bread pick was amazing not only for it’s taste but also for how special and different it was to make. So take a journey with me through the next ten days, my hope is that you will try at least two or three of them in the New Year. I guarantee it will be worth it or your money back for the recipe. lol!

Nice to meet you Angela! I’ve been wondering if you were really real! Chuck’s a lucky guy to have you doing all his photos.
And what a great idea to do a Top Ten! Can’t wait to see if your favorites are mine too!
