Ham and Cheese Bread Recipe

Cheese breads are one of my favorites. The cheese really gives bread a full bodied flavor and wonderful aroma. It doesn’t seem to matter what kind of cheese you use, they all just seem to turn out amazing.

If you remember back in April, I made some Semolina Panini buns, I used Boursin cheese in the sandwich I made. Well, I love the flavor so much that I decided to use Boursin cheese again in this Ham and Cheese Bread. But, this time I actually baked the cheese right inside of the bread itself. Than topped it with a little Monterey Cheese and a delicious aged Cheddar Cheese. The combination is so good!

The bread turned out just like I expected … amazingly good. The bread is soft and beautiful to look at. You can just pull a piece off like a bun and eat it on it’s own without any butter. It truly doesn’t need anything to go with it. I think we devoured this Ham and Cheese bread in less than an hour. I wished I had made more than just one loaf :(

You know, I believe with all the cheese going into your recipe, this beautiful bread alone, is bound to be a religious experience.
