How do you get the tart out of the tart pan? It looks so gorgeous without the pan walls around it. Mine is baking as I write this. Can't wait to try it.

OH-MY-GOODNESS!!!! Chuck, very soon you and I are going to need to come to some sort of understanding where you don't post stuff that demand I go to the kitchen and bake!!

I made the tart/bread this afternoon with the indiviual pans like I told you and I put the remaining mixture into a loaf pan. I don't know what else to say, words fail me... I love it! I love it! I love it! I can't wait to share it with some friends tomorrow.

Honestly, you make a little baking pro out of me. Thank you so very much for this recipe. You're my baking guru :)

It was delicious, thanks for the recipe. I baked the tart 5 minutes longer. Of course, we couldn't wait for it to cool completely...
I posted photo of one slice of it on my blog.

I made this tart/cake/bread Sunday with the last of the apples from my MIL's tree, not granny smith, but nicely tart. While preparing, I was saying "no, way, this recipe is going to work out." I followed the directions exactly and WOW, everyone at work this morning is blown away! I never believed all those apples would fit into the tart pan (mine mounded a little higher than the picture). I also refrigerated it over night as I glazed it with some left over cream cream frosting from some Halloween cupcakes - thinned out with lemon juice - so it's a little "custardy" in texture.

I can see how this would replace apple pie at the holidays. Anyway, sorry to go on and on, FANTASTIC recipe!!! Great site too.
