Your recipe made a seriously good bread Chuck. It has a very good flavour and texture, with a nice bit of chewiness when toasted and was delicious used for a sandwich with toasted almond butter. I made very slight changes (using Sunshine squash - mind you, it looks like a little pie pumpkin - using a tad more of it and the cinnamon and allspice, and I baked it at 400F).
Thanks for the recipe - it's one I'll be making again as I have squash galore to use up every fall.
Cheers! Andy

I was wondering what to do with a lonely can of pumpkin puree - this recipe looks like a winner! Freshly baked bread with cinnamon gives a fantastic aroma.

Enjoy your vacation to New Orleans!
