11 ) About 135 million roses will be bought for Valentine’s day.

12 ) 2.4 billion dollars will be spent on Valentines.

13 ) 36 million heart shaped boxes of chocolate are sold for Valentines.

    thanks for the visit. As far as the stats go, I know that Valentines Day and Mothers Day are huge here in North America for restaurants. I’m sure it’s the same in Australia … I think. Mind you, looking at your picture of Rosslyn Bay Inn and Beaches restaurant I don’t think you need a special day to pack the house. What a beautiful setting.
